Editing Font

The Font card controls text formatting for the current scope's cells.

Family

The Family dropdown starts with two special options - Theme font (Body) and Theme font (Heading) - followed by every font family installed on your computer, in alphabetical order. Picking a theme font keeps the style tied to whatever fonts the file's theme uses, so it adapts if the theme changes; picking a specific installed font (e.g. "Calibri") fixes it to that exact typeface regardless of theme.

Size

6 to 72 pt. PowerPoint only: font size isn't actually part of a PowerPoint table style at all (PowerPoint stores it separately, shared by every table in the whole presentation) and so cannot be set when editing a PowerPoint file - see PowerPoint specific notes for details. Size still works normally for Word and Excel. If you want to share a style across applications, you should edit the style in a Word document to set as many properties as possible.

Bold, Italic, Underline

Toggle buttons (B, I, U). PowerPoint only: Underline has the same limitation as Size above - PowerPoint table styles have no slot for it at all, so it's never read or written for PowerPoint files. Bold and Italic work normally for all three applications.

Color

Click the swatch for the same theme/RGB picker Fill and Borders use, plus an Automatic option that lets the host application pick a sensible color rather than a fixed one.
