That gallery only contains fixed, built-in styles. There's no straightforward way to design or edit your own table styles for PowerPoint, the way you can in Word. The Table Branding Manager adds that missing editor: you design your own table style, using your brand's colors and formatting, and add it to the table style gallery in PowerPoint (and Word and Excel).

Yes. Open the template in the Table Branding Manager. You export the style to a .ksstyle file and import it into a Word, PowerPoint or Excel file. For Excel, conversions take place, because Excel table styles have different capabilities than Word and PowerPoint. See how that works on the Full edition page.

Unlike PowerPoint, Excel already has its own working table style editor. The Table Branding Manager doesn't compete with that, it makes sure a style you designed also ends up in Excel. Excel table styles are built differently, so conversion takes place there. You can then fine-tune it with Excel's own editor if you want.

With the Full edition you design styles: add, duplicate, edit, rename, delete, and set one as the default style. The Import-only edition can only import a ready-made style and set it as default, nothing more. New or updated styles in a template aren't carried through to existing documents. That way everyone can apply the brand identity, without the risk of someone accidentally disrupting it. See the pricing for both editions.

Both. Changing a table style in a template doesn't work retroactively: documents that were already created from that template aren't updated automatically. That's why the Table Branding Manager doesn't just open and edit templates (.potx, .potm, .dotx, .dotm, .xltx, .xltm), but also regular documents, presentations and workbooks directly.

No. It's a 64-bit Windows application (Windows 10 or 11) and doesn't run on macOS.

Yes, with the Replace color feature. You see every color the style uses, across every part, in one overview, automatically deduplicated to a single row per color. Choose the replacement per color and everything is updated at once, as a single step in the undo history.
